Lady Ismay Ponde

Lady Ismay Ponde joined the SCA in 1987 in the Barony of the Far West while serving with the US Navy in Korea. She left in November of that year, receiving the Order of the Empty Shell for baronial service. She lived in Caid and in the Barony of Red Spears in the Middle Kingdom. She came to AEthelmearc in 1995 to marry Count Jehan de la Marche. In 2003 they moved to Caid, where she received her Award of Arms Oct. 23, AS 39. She returned to AEthelmearc in November 2005. She first entered illumination at the Artisans Forum at War Practice in 2006 and received the Forum organizer's personal choice award from Master Remus Fletcher. Since that time she has been producing scrolls for the Sylvan Signet. On August 3rd, 2008 she received a Sycamore for her illumination work.
